We prefer to receive teams in March (Spring Break), late May through mid-July, and in the Fall.

The ideal team budget is between $2700-$3000, including airfare.

We collaborate with our national team early in the year and present which teams we anticipate coming and make recommendations. We want them to have ownership and be part of our decisions. Historically, about 40% of our teams stay in Santiago, and 60% serve outside of the capital.

Most of our teams do evangelism alongside Chilean students and ministry leaders, serve and attend local churches, and are exposed to the culture of Chile.

Some teams have stayed in the homes of Chilean church members, others in Airbnbs, others in hotels. Many times it will be a mixture, as our teams generally visit more than one city.

Because we are in the Southern Hemisphere, our seasons are inverted from the seasons in North America. It is winter in June/July and summer in January/February. Our winters can be rainy, with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s. Our summers can be dry, with highs in the mid-90s. Remember that central heat and air is rare in Chile.
